The Philosophy of The Cottage at Heritage Pointe focuses on our residents' strengths and abilities. Active participation is the goal for each resident living in our family designed setting. The Cottage provides trained associates who demonstrate compassion and creativity while incorporating the entire family. Our associates create a loving environment where dignity and understanding are of utmost importance.

The homelike surroundings provide familiarity and encourage socialization. Private suites with baths are designed for each individual in order to promote independence. Common areas are created for social activities, dining pleasure and a comfortable atmosphere, as well as for family interaction.

1) The Cottage adheres to the Bell/Troxel "Bill of Rights" and the OBRA Resident Rights to insure that resident rights are met.

2) The Cottage follows the "Key Elements of Dementia Care" as promoted by the Alzheimer's Association.
